Explorer Climbing Hill

Explorers are a go getting group of
young people. Week in and week out,
they gather in groups called units.

 

Being an Exporer is all about discovering the world on your terms
and making the most of what you have.

 

Whether it is hiking to faraway lands or building a robot in your
local town hall, you'll have the freedom to choose what you'd
like to do.

 

Alongside new friends, you'll master the skills that will
make you feel stronger and happier. Whilst
trying new things you never get the chance to do in school.

 

All organised by our wonderful team of amazing leaders who plan
and deliver such an inspiring programme.

The Program

 

Explorers can earn a variety of badges. These badges
are designed to recognise their achievements and personal
growth

 

Common Badges include The Duke of Edinburgh's Award
Young Leader Belt and Staged Activity
Awards

 

That's not all thought, badges can be gained for Top Awards
and Activity/Challenge Awards.

 

These badges are a way for young people to learn and grow whilst
having a great time.

 

 

Explorer Uniform

What Explorers Wear

 

Explorer uniform consists of a Beige shirt or blouse with your badges
sewn on and our unique 'necker' representing our group.

 

Uniform is comfy and practical. Explorers can also wear
Explorer or Young Leader Belts. It makes you feel part
of a team, and is a great place to show off all your badges.

 

Uniform can be bought from our online shop, or by speaking to one
of the leaders.
